Upon completion and passing the exam you are able to apply to join NSWCUSA up to and including one year from the date on your Examination Certificate. You are encouraged to join as soon as possible so as to enjoy the benefits of membership. Your NSWCUSA membership card will gain you free entry to cricket matches played by the NSW Blues and allows you to access the members’ reserve at the Sydney Cricket Ground during such matches.

Membership of the Association entitles you to a 15% discount on merchandise and entry to the Bradman Museum in Bowral.

Members of the Association are welcome to apply to umpire matches in NSW Premier Cricket. Umpiring NSW Premier Cricket provides a genuine pathway to officiate in representative cricket and to selection on the NSW State Umpire Panel. It also provides experience umpiring in the best administered and strongest domestic competition in world cricket. To officiate NSW Premier Cricket fixtures, umpires are required to be a member of NSWCUSA. Country resident umpires are always welcome to officiate in NSW Premier Cricket.

Those who umpire NSW Premier Cricket are welcome to apply for honorary membership of the Sydney Cricket Ground. This allows the card holder free entry to the members’ reserve for all domestic and international cricket matches played at the SCG in that season – a wonderful benefit for NSWCUSA members.

Members of NSWCUSA are appointed to umpire matches in the representative programs conducted by NSW Country Cricket Association such as the NSW Country Championship, NSW Country Colts Carnival, Bradman Cup (U16) and Kookaburra Cup (U14). They are eligible to be appointed to a Zone Umpire Development Panel.

Members are also appointed to officiate in State Challenge Representative Carnivals and the Plan B Regional T20 Bash.

Whatever level at which you choose to officiate, the Association is able to guide and assist through its professional development programs offered to members.

We wish you all the best in your cricketing endeavours, offer congratulations again on your Examination success and hope to see you soon among the membership of NSWCUSA. Many of our members hold dual membership with NSWCUSA and an affiliated umpiring body.
